Executive Summary
Foresight Technologies has 30 years of expertise in plastic fabrication and installation, making it a strategic partner for leading semiconductor manufacturers. As global fabs and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) scale their operations, Foresight has the capability and capacity to support their growth. Operating from our campuses in Phoenix, Arizona, and Penang, Malaysia, Foresight has the necessary infrastructure to meet high-volume, high-purity plastic fabrication, piping and chemical-delivery requirements.
Foresight provides high-purity plastic fabrication and piping support, including containment, prefabrication, on-site installation, and related services aligned with facilities and tool installation schedules.
The company supports projects ranging from weeks-long to multi-year, multi-fab build-outs. We also have the technical teams to support next-generation development for front-end and back-end manufacturing.
In recent years, Foresight has continuously expanded its scope of work, adding new capabilities to meet customers’ rapidly shifting schedules and needs. The company has grown through capital investment and deliberate workforce development, fueled by global and local expansion and by deep investment in its C4-licensed, fab-focused construction division, Foresight On-Site (FOS).
Since 2022, Foresight has more than tripled its workforce to over 1,000 employees and increased the capacity of its Malaysian- and U.S.-based facilities by more than 200,000 square feet, resulting in a global facilities footprint of more than 380,000 square feet. This expansion has ensured the successful completion of customer projects, resulting in significant repeat orders and increased contracted work from its customers.
CASE STUDY
Foresight has engaged with numerous multinational semiconductor manufacturers on new builds and expansions of existing campuses in the Southwest US. Over the last four years and through its Foresight On-Site fab construction division, Foresight continues to rapidly expand our services to include providing high-purity wet processing equipment, chemical containment and delivery systems, high-purity piping, high-purity orbital welding pipefitting and semiconductor tool hookup services. Foresight is consistently commended as one of the highest performing contractors on site.

Business Challenge
There are a limited number of high-purity plastics and piping suppliers, and few have the scale and local presence required to support high-volume semiconductor projects. Arizona’s accelerating regional semiconductor campus build-out created immediate constraints at two pressure points: (1) skilled labor availability and (2) materials and manufacturing capacity for high-purity, safety-critical systems. Foresight’s supply chain team leveraged our supplier relationships to avert shortages.
Additionally, semiconductor fabs have highly specific chemical-delivery and wet-process requirements that need to match tool and equipment specifications designed abroad and then localized. This could be an OEM build-to-print scope or major fab construction services. Foresight delivered reliable execution, strictly adhered to exacting requirements, and brought in trained employees who work well in dynamic construction and tool-installation environments.

Solution and Approach
- Established vendor readiness and alignment. Foresight conducted repeated alignment meetings with the customer’s senior engineers and managers to clarify expectations and demonstrate capability, building confidence over time.
- Executed a blended delivery model. Foresight offered a mix of off-site manufacturing and on-site services with distinct labor models to support both speed and quality control.
- Targeted workforce mobilization. We de-risked schedule volatility by deploying employees across on-site and off-site teams to meet variable demand for each project.
- Aligned capability expansion. As the relationship matured, we proactively brought in additional capacity, new capabilities and new services to expand and link scopes together, such as off-site plastic fabrication expanding to include C4-licensed pipefitting.
OEM and Construction Services Delivered
- High-purity wet processing equipment. Provided contract manufacturing services for wet processing tools with a blended model of off-site manufacturing, on-site assembly and final installation.
- Chemical delivery. Manufactured and installed a wide range of products, from simple valve manifold boxes (VMBs) to process-critical chemical systems.
- Containment systems. Installed fabricated plastic pans beneath wet chemical tools to protect tools and users from potential damage and danger and reduce downtime associated with leak remediation.
- High-purity plastic piping for wet tools. Installed double-containment piping used for high-purity fluid delivery and/or drain connections.
- High-purity and double-containment pipefitting. Licensed pipefitters installed high-purity piping per construction plans to connect to supply and distribution systems.
- Stainless steel orbital welding. New scope qualified for gas delivery systems.
- Tool hookup. Connected semiconductor tools and support equipment to power, communications, network, gases, fluids, drain lines and exhaust systems. Foresight managed the installation, validation and testing of numerous tools, including those for etch and deposition, prior to OEM commissioning.

Results and Business Impact
- Provided scalable, efficient support in a volatile environment. Advanced manufacturing and construction projects require a level of precision, scale and flexibility that Foresight provided on time and on budget in the face of shifting customer schedules. By using a blended off-site manufacturing/on-site installation model and increasing staff, we reduced lead times and enabled accelerated execution across multiple projects.
- Expanded SOW capabilities. Foresight secured expanded scopes, scaling from narrow service delivery to a broader range within a year. This growth allowed the company to further develop our Foresight On-Site fab construction division, broadening its capabilities within the global high-purity piping ecosystem.
- Scaled manufacturing and workforce footprint. Foresight added ~100 employees across shifts to support the customer’s increased manufacturing, operational needs and uneven scheduling requirements across multiple projects.
- Positioned for strong future growth. Foresight has secured multi-year contracts for base build, UPW, tool hookup, high-purity piping and containment with a significant pipeline for growth. These new and upcoming contracts have allowed Foresight to invest in its off-site manufacturing capabilities for UPW skids, turnkey valve boxes and both fusion-bonded and orbital-welded spools. Coupled with its scalable workforce, manufacturing and capabilities growth, Foresight holds a strong leadership position, allowing it to support the continued growth of the high-purity equipment, fabrication, plumbing and piping sectors.
Foresight is continuing to expand its manufacturing footprint, employee base and skilled-trade capabilities throughout 2026 to support the ramp-up for its current OEM and fab clients, as well as others in the pipeline.
